Bringing the Indoors Out

Summer is finally here! The sun is shining, the air is warm and all we want to do is be outside and enjoy it.  Lately there have been some cool ideas for events that take advantage of the beautiful weather but do not compromise comfort or style.

Here are some of our favorites and some ideas on how to utilize them for your own event.

Pews

Bringing church pews outside creates  a traditional ceremony environment in a non-traditional setting.

Lounge Furniture

Use classic lounge furniture or traditional indoor furniture for a more intimate feel and comfortable seating alternative.

Vintage Dressers

Vintage dressers can be used in many different ways. They can act as a bar, gift table, or even a place for the guest book and seating assignments.

Picture Frames

Picture frames add a more personal touch to the event. Bring some family pictures outside or even use picture frames for displaying wedding information or signs.

Mirrors

Mirrors can act as a guest book, where guests sign their names, write a little note or some advice for the new couple. Another idea is to use a mirror as a way to organize seating.

Repurposed Windows

Use an old window to show your guests where they will be sitting during your event. As well as a fun and unique guest book.

Doors

Make the entrance to your event stand out by adding an old door. It creates a warm and inviting feel as well as being a unique accent. Let this doorway to your ceremony be a entrance to your new life together.

Chandeliers

Complete your outdoor space by adding a chandelier over a table or seating area. This creates an elegant and intimate feel.

Mix and Match Chairs

By adding many different types of chairs, one creates a casual and vintage feel. It feels as though everyone pulled up a chair to help you celebrate.

Board Games

Board games at a wedding can add a fun and playful vibe to get everyone acquainted and actively participating. It is a great way to take a break from dancing but still enjoy the celebration.
